Way to go, Bethany!

Bethany earned her purple belt in Tae Kwon Do. She is such a joy to watch. The focus and determination she shows are really amazing. Way to go, Bethany! We are so proud of you!

Happy Birthday, Trinity!!

Trinity turns 1!! She had a ball at her party but her favorite was the cake. She managed to get most of it in her mouth and didnt want to miss a crumb.

Its hard to believe that just a year ago we had no idea what we were missing. What a blessing she has been and how much richer our lives are for having her in them.

Artha's Confirmation

After 14 months of intensive study, Artha was confirmed into the Lutheran Church on February 10th. It was a life changing year of study and prayer and we are so proud of how much she has grown in her relationship with God and with others.

Christmas Night at Zilker Park

Trinity got to experience her first Zilker Park visit this year, spinning under the tree, basking in the warmth of the yule log, taking in all the lights on Congress Avenue. The only thing missing this year was the horse drawn carriage ride which for some reason was not taking place that night. Hopefully we'll get to do that with her next year. She should be old enough to really love it by then.

Visiting Concordia

Phil and I took the girls on a tour of the Concordia campus. So many great memories there. Its hard to believe it will all be gone by this time next year. We took pictures of some of our special spots including this spot in front of Killian Hall. It was here that we really connected for the first time under a rare double rainbow. A beautiful memory and a very special spot for us.

Hippo Heaven!

We stopped to take a picture with Henrietta on a recent trip to Hutto, the Hippo Capital of Texas.
